EFF is gaining momentum in the province

This clearly shows that the corruption , nepotism and cadre deployment style is not doing justice to ordinary people as ANC councillors are known of helping their own relatives to get employments."

MBOMBELA- Local government elections are around the corner and different political parties including the famous Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) are working tirelessly to prepare for the elections as they are determined to perform very well .

Mpumalanga News has learnt Freedom Fighters are welcoming new members mostly from the ANC almost every week in their different branches across the province.

Speaking to this publication the provincial chairperson of the EFF Mr Collen Sedibe said

“ We really meant it when we said we are ready to make a difference for the people of this country in terms of ensuring that everybody lives a better life and we have realized that people are sick and tired of the empty promises made by the ruling party,”.

Sedibe went on to state that since the launching of their door to door campaign and recruitment campaigns geared for 2016 local government elections their membership statistics has drastically increased to more than 270 000 excluding those that need to be renewed in the province.

“This past weekend we were busy at Daantjie where residents joined the party in numbers .

This clearly shows that the corruption , nepotism and cadre deployment style is not doing justice to ordinary people as ANC councillors are known of helping their own relatives to get employments and the people of this country are fed up of such things,” he said.
