He gave a beautiful rendition of George Michael’s “Careless Whisper” and had us feeling the sadness of the song together with him.
The province has pledged their support for this singer and we are all hopeful that our votes will help keep him in the competition even longer.
The MEC for the Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation Ms Norah Mahlangu-Mabena, has pledged support for Karabo and the campaigns surrounding him.
“The artist has proven himself to be a talented singer who has all the qualities to be the next SA Idol, but he needs us to make it happen. I’m asking all of you to triple the support you extended to previous participants of the show. Let’s vote Karabo to the title,” said Mahlangu-Mabena.
The department has also committed itself to supporting Team Karabo with posters. “If the winner was judged on talent alone, Karabo would have been crowned winner a long time ago. We are voting for him to ensure his stay in the competition,” she added.
Mbombela Municipality has also jumped on board to say that they are fully behind the campaign to get Karabo the votes he needs to win the Idols SA title.
“The boy is good, his voice is just amazing. Mbombela Municipality is vying for him, not just because he’s one of our own, but because he’s just good.
We are supporting the campaigns the best way we can, and I urge the people to vote for him. We are voting for him already,” said Jospeh Ngala, spokesperson for Mbombela.
