United to roar at Dobsonville

Mbombela United coach, Vusi Mkhatshwa, believes the team are ready to take on Moroka Swallows at Dobsonville Stadium this Sunday at 15:00 despite the losses.

Mbombela United failed to live up to their supporters’ expectations when Witbank Spurs beat them 1-0 at KaNyamazane Stadium last Sunday. This follows their recent 1-0 loss to Baroka FC at Polokwane’s Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Mbombela United coach, Vusi Mkhatshwa, believes the team are ready to take on Moroka Swallows at Dobsonville Stadium this Sunday at 15:00 despite the losses. “With the amazing support we get every day, it is a challenge. We as the technical team are ready for the many challenges, even Premier Soccer League (PSL) teams don’t get the support we have at our home games. What we owe our supporters right now, is registering wins.

We really appreciate that, and we want to make sure that we fight back as a team,” said Mkhatshwa.
He informed this newspaper that their training sessions were going according to plan. “We have discovered our mistake, we normally lose concentration in the last few minutes of the game.

We have rectified it and we hope the new players that we have signed will give us the strength to reach the top of the log. We will give it a run. “We have signed four players from African All Stars, one player of Phiva United and one of Thanda Royal Zulu.

We are still looking forward to signing experienced players like Jabulani Dladla of Polokwane City since he is from Mpumalanga as well,” he said.”We promise to win more games and go to the top of the log, yet we are new in this tough league. It is not my intention to lose, but to win and we are going to fight Moroka Swallows in the field of play,” said Mkhatswa.

Tingwenyama’s spokesperson, Sostern Gutsa, pleaded with all supporters to come out in large numbers to collect the three-point win at Dobsonville Stadium.”Moroka Swallows owe us a win, they won last time we played against them and they were still in the PSL.

They are far better than us, yet today we are in the same league. We will go there with one thing in mind, to win.”Supporters wishing to accompany the team should contact Mzwandile Nkosi on 071-111-9175 for transportation at only R70 per person.
