Women to sharpen one another in church

The service will also cater for married women on how best to revive the spark in their love life.

MBOMBELA- The saying, “Iron sharpens iron,” will be attested this month as powerful women of God will preach, motivate and empower her every Sunday as part of celebrating Women’s Month at the Latter Glory Church (LGC). The theme is, “Women of strength and character”.

Speaking to this newspaper, the founder who is also a gospel sensation, Bishop Anderson Matsane, said women were the backbone of the church and the community, hence they needed to be encouraged to do good work.

“We have lots of women who are raising and taking care of their families on their own, some of them sell fruits and veggies to makea living. They don’t grow weary and we have to thank them for their role in the society.”

Narrating his own story on how he and his six siblings were raised by their single aunt after the death of their parents and how she had maintained to do everything in her power to provide for them, made celebrating Women’s Month worthwhile.

“Surely if we equip single women we are investing in the church and the country at large, because they are so talented and they have enough time to intercede for the church.

The service will also cater for married women on how best to revive the spark in their love life, sustain their marriages and keep the balance between their marriage and being servants of the Lord.

Other women issues included tips on leading a healthy lifestyle and creating health awareness.

Attendees are also set to be treated to great worship and praise songs by Matsane and his best friend, local gospel artist Goodman Mgibe.
