MBOMBELA- Water supply problems in areas around Hazyview is expected to be continue due to shortage of raw water supply to the treatment plant, states a media statement from Mbombela Municipality.
It states that there is a shortage of about 50-60% of water at Hazyview because during canal closure, Council only depended on the Sabie Raw Water pump station and the Hippo dam that supply 40-50% of the normal water supply to the community.
This means some areas will not receive water at all or encounter low pressure, however the situation is expected to be normal during the course of the day today. “Therefore the community of Hazyview need to note this challenge and use water sparingly during this time,”reads the statement.
