Author creates his own world
The local author of such as Still unborn, The Mind of the Mind, The dream of the dreamer, We have lived Before, Mother Rebecca and many others, Ronny Banda is back with a new book titled I am because I Was.
MBOMBELA-Banda, the co-founder and president of The Dance of Though Company, chairperson of TASA and an LLB student, describes his new book as an effort to distinguish between individuality and personality. “As Sandile Ngcobo said, difficulties and inequities do not constitute impossibility, therefore this stands to reason that as we desire, so we create our world”.
“As the little old adage says, whatever Miss T eats, becomes Miss T. The book gives the reader an understanding of what you eat with your mind is what you become,” said Banda.
He added that during Youth Month, young people had to remember that the youth of 1976 had a business plan and that plan was free education for all. “As MEC for education Reginah Mhaule said, education should be an issue of everyone because it takes the whole community to raise a child. We must elevate ourselves to new
horizons. When I leave this world, I will leave no regrets. I will leave something to remember because today we have a company which specializes in books,” he concluded.
