A freak accident involving a Buscor bus, and a smaller vehicle claimed a life this morning. The accident which occurred in KaMagugu this morning caused a heavy traffic jam on the routes coming to town.
According to Vuyani Ndlovu, from Buscor, the Polo Classic was overtaking on the solid line, when it swerved to its far right where it collided head-on with the bus.
“The bus was coming from Mbombela to Kanyamazane, when the Polo collided with it. The woman driving it was declared dead on the scene, we send our heartfelt condolences to the family, and we hope the postmortem will reveal what really happened, because there seems to be more than meets the eye,” said Vuyani Ndlovu, Buscor spokesperson.
Ndlovu also confirmed that no injuries were recorded from the bus.
“The bus only had 15 people, and luckily, no one was hurt from the collision. We really pray that the family of the deceased finds comfort in God,” he concluded.
