MBOMBELA- Do you have what it takes to succeed Miss World Rolene Strauss and the current
Miss South Africa Liesl Laurie?

The search has begun for the young woman who will follow in the footsteps of reigning Miss World, Rolene Strauss and the current Miss South Africa, Liesl Laurie and become one of South Africa’s most prominent Ambassadors.

Hundreds of queries have already been received by the pageant’s licence holders Sun International, no doubt because of the huge interest surrounding the pageant following 2014 Miss South Africa Rolene Strauss taking the Miss World title in December last year.

Entries are now open for the 2016 Miss South Africa Pageant and close on the 5th of September 2015

The Miss South Africa pageant will be held in March 2016 when current incumbent Liesl Laurie will hand over her crown to her successor. Miss South Africa 2016 will have the chance to represent her country and compete in both the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants.

“Winning Miss South Africa, and then being afforded the opportunity to compete in the Miss World pageant and take the crown, has changed my life irrevocably. It has given me the chance to meet people from all over the world while also allowing me to give something back. It is an experience and honour that every Miss South Africa entrant has the potential to achieve,” says Strauss.

She is still beaming after her crowing at Sun City in March 2015 and says “It means the world to me. I believe my story will inspire many people across the country and that is a very special part of the title for me. Being able to motivate and inspire someone makes me excited knowing that I could make a difference in their life.”
