MSHOLOZI – The late ANC activist, Cynthia Ndlovu at last found joy when her relentless efforts to struggle for the emancipation of the poor of the poorest paid off even though she watched from her grave.

That was when the executive mayor of Mbombela Local Municipality, Cllr Sibusiso Mathonsi, Ehlanzeni regional secretary, Cllr Phazamisa Mbatha, local ward councillor Kenneth Mkhonto, representatives of White Hazy Construction and other delegates honoured Ndlovu by handing over a new house to her three children at Section D.

Relatives of the late member, neighbours and the community praised and ululated as the three beneficiaries aged 22, 13 and eight were handed the house. Their grandmother, Sina Mambane and her other daughter, Zanele Ndlovu expressed their gratitude to the party for the gift of life given to the children who will now have a decent home unlike the dilapidated shack they used to share with their late mother.

“We are so happy to receive this house, it’s just unfortunate that my sister is no longer here to witness the love of her party she served for so many years,” explained Zanele.
