Fancy yourself a fashionista? Can’t leave the house without giving your outfit some serious thought? Then you maybe you deserve to be on the cover of your favourite community glossy magazine, Get it Lowveld.
The Get it editorial team is on the lookout for someone to shine on their spring cover. This must be the most stylish lady in the Lowveld. She’s that person who owns a collection of beautiful clothing items ranging from high-street designer labels to vintage finds and bargain buys.
She puts her outfits together with thought, and wears everything with flair. She can be old or young (no under 18s), and she is not a supermodel – but she certainly looks the part because she is so well-groomed and stylish.
How to enter
Simply show up dressed to the nines in your favourite outfit on one of these dates:
Riverside Mall, 16 April from 09:00-15:00, Lions Court
(in front of Queenspark, Foschini and Galaxy)
Ilanga Mall, 23 April from 09:00-15:00, in front of Truworths
A professional photographer will take a picture of you at the Get it Lowveld booth, and you will have to complete a short entry
form with your details, and answer a few questions about your personal style.
If you miss the photo booth days, you can still submit a photograph to enter via email – watch the Get it Lowveld Facebook page, Twitter, and lowveld.getitonline.co.za for details.
The process
After the photo sessions, all the photographs of entrants will appear on the Get it Lowveld website.
The editorial team will then narrow down their search to 10 finalists, and these finalists will appear in the magazine and online so readers can vote for their favourite finalist.
The winner will be announced at the Get it Fashionista day – a fancy event to look forward to later in the year.
The prize
Once announced, the winner will be pampered, dressed, and styled to appear on the magazine’s beautiful spring cover.
She will participate in a fun photo shoot with a professional photographer, and will be interviewed for an article about her style, grooming
and shopping tips.
As part of her prize, she will be spoiled with shopping and treatment vouchers, and a breakaway.
