Afro’Traction, formally known as Wandile Moya, has proven that good work has a way of paying off. The RnB artist of KaBokweni has bagged a Metro FM Music Award for the best African pop album over the weekend in Durban.

The award was for his latest release, For The Lovers.”I am so overjoyed, I’m just happy. This is a very humbling experience that pushes one to work even harder.
“It gives me great pleasure knowing that my music is not just recognised, but celebrated to that level. “There’s only one thing to do from here – double up all the effort and dedication to the art,” he said.
His fans will also be glad to know that he will soon be going on tour in his quest of taking music to the people.
“We have themed it ‘Music to the People’. This is my way of saying thank you to the people who voted for me and just to let them know that I appreciate their continuous support.
“I will most definitely start at home in Mbombela. The tour will commence at the end of this month. “More details will be communicated and I encourage the people to come out and celebrate with me,” he concluded.
