Poor service angers patients

They alleged that it was overcrowded as all members of the community around Pienaar and Daantjie depended on it. Some accused workers of being slow and not doing their job properly

DAANTJIE – Residents in this community have started complaining about the poor services rendered at Ziweni Clinic, which is the only health facility in the area.

They alleged that it was overcrowded as all members of the community around Pienaar and Daantjie depended on it.
Some accused workers of being slow and not doing their job properly.

A 67-year-old woman said, “I often use this clinic for my medication. It is very difficult because I usually arrive around 05:00 and I will get help around 14:00.”
Some community members also accused the staff of taking frequent breaks during working hours which led to long queues.
“It seems like they do not care that we are there for assistance,” she added.
