PIENAAR – A 17-year-old learner from Gedlembane secondary school is expected to appear at the Kabokweni magistrate court today for bail application.
This comes after the learner was arrested last week on Friday after he stabbed to death another learner.
It’s reported that the suspect stabbed Sibusiso Thwala (18) after a fight over a girlfriend which is an incident that took place outside the school premises.
Local police urged parents to play their role as the spokesperson, Lt Jabu Ndubane said:
“Parents must play their role by checking school bags and school work of their children to ensure that everything is going well and they don’t carry dangerous weapons to school. “
