ERMELO – Three Pakistani nationals aged between 21 and 35 arrested in connetion with the murder of 31-year-old man Tariq Rashid Mohamed from Bangladesh appeared in the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
The suspects were nabbed shortly after police received a complaint regarding a fight that had taken place in a certain company in Ermelo, on Novemebr 27.
When police arrived at the scene, they were informed that the suspects had been engaged in a fight with the victim who was already rushed to hospital as he was stabbed in the process. The suspects were then taken in for further investigation.
Police also went to the hospital in Ermelo, where they found the victim who was certified dead shortly on their arrival with multiple stab wounds on his chest, head and back.
Court outcome was not yet known.
