Hereos walk against HIV & AIDS
The Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature is currently running build up activities for the day, under the theme 'Sports Heroes Walk'.
MBOMBELA – With December 01, declared as International World Aids Day, the province is hard at work preparing to celebrate this day.
The Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature is currently running build up activities for the day, under the theme ‘Sports Heroes Walk’ which was officially launched in Piet Retief, Mkhondo Local Municipality.
Mpumalanga News has learnt that the activities will run until the December 1, where the speaker of the Legislature, Ms Thandi Shongwe will hand over sanitary towels to girls from selected schools around the province.
Some of the sports heroes that are expected to take part in the Sports Heroes Walk include Josia Thungwane, Desree Ellis, Nompumelelo Nyandeni and Sindisiwe Gumede just to name the few.
