Premier welcomes remains of Nigeria tragedy

Mabuza received 18 remains from the province. Meanwhile six are still missing and have to be identified in Nigeria.

MBOMBELA- Premier David Mabuza has received mortal remains of Mpumalanga citizens who lost their lives in Nigeria tragedy.

Mpumalanga News learnt that Mabuza received 18 remains from the province ,meanwhile six are still missing and have to be identified in Nigeria.

The provincial government will be hosting a memorial service at Ehlanzeni Disaster Centre at 11H00 .

“I’d love to send my condolences to families and friends who lost their loved ones and we want to assure them that we will support them through out the journey and will always put them in our prayers as we understand that they are going through a difficult situation for the past two months .

I also like to appreciate the effort that our national government to ensure the remains return home so that the families will find closure with their loved ones “said Mabuza.

He added that they will also pray for those families who are still waiting for their loved ones as they are still need to be identified so that they can also return home .
