Call of nature led a 60 year-old to be raped

PIENAAR – Incidents of rape in this area and surrounding is reaching high and most of them occur in the early dawn as perpetrators are targeting women use buses early in the morning.
In a bizarre incident, a call of nature led a 60 year –old woman to be raped by an unknown man.
According to the information received by this publication, the woman was relieving herself in a pit toilet when an unknown man attacked her unexpectedly in her house near the local police station .
Speaking to Mpumalanga News, the spokesperson of the local police, Sgt Jabu Ndubane confirmed the incident.
”A case of rape has been opened and no one has been arrested, but we are going to do our best to ensure that the perpetrators face the law. We’d like to urge our community members to accompany each other when nature calls, especially early in the morning because most of the people are still using pit toilets which is something that puts them in high risk of being raped,“ she concluded.
