Community receives new health facility

"We are happy that our outcry didn’t fall on deaf ears".

LUPHISI – The local community has received positive response to their protest regarding a dilapidated clinic in the area.

The good news is, they now have a new clinic to cater for their health issues.

Mpumalanga News revisited the area last week and found the gates closed as the old structure was no longer used as a clinic due to its bad state.

They have moved to a new building not far away from the old clinic.
One of the community members, Ms Thembekile Gwebu said,

“We are happy that our outcry didn’t fall on deaf ears because really, the old structure was in such a condition in such a way that it could not even be called a clinic. Now everything is going smoothly and the service that we are getting from the staff is also good.“
