MSOGWABA- A grey Polo Vivo was side smashed by a bus in the early hours of the morning at Shell Garage. The bus was about to turn right when the driver of the Polo got in the way and it was side dragged by the bus.
According to an eye witness, the driver of the polo was talking on the phone while driving and it is believed that he didn’t pay attention to the rules of the road. Fortunately the driver was not wounded, passengers were forced to get out of the bus and they had to wait for another bus.
Mpumalanga News spoke to the one of the passengers, Mr France Dube and he said “The bus had been waiting for other vehicles to pass and the Polo just came in the way of the bus, we all know that a bus needs lost of space in order to be able to turn without smashing vehicles or pedestrians. We will not tolerate negligence, we are late already maybe some of us will be fired when we get to work,” he said.
