The Centre cares for orphans and abandoned children from 4-19 years. According to the Provincial Public Protector’s office, these children are in the process of being adopted.

“During a prior visit to the Centre, a need for repainting of the offices and bedding for the children was identified by the officials, and the aim was to honour Madiba’s legacy of selfless service to humanity and responding to President Jacob Zuma’s call to cleaning up the country,” said Collin Shongwe of the Provincial Public Protector’s Office.

The officials together with young people from Victory Terbanacle Church in White River painted the Centre, did Laundry and gardening for the children. Sponge beds, groceries and clothes were donated by the PP’s Officials and the young people of the Victory Terbanacle Church.
