MANZINI- Last Friday Premier David Mabuza delivered the state of the province address, while some VIPs were catching the speech live, residents of Manzini were granted an opportunity to watch over a big screen TV in a hall to accommodate the average people with no DSTV in witnessing what the premier had to deliver to them.
Miss Sphiwe Shongwe had this to say “I am happy with the idea that the people with no DSTV’S at their homes be given the chance to perceive for themselves what their premier had to say,” she said.
The excited resident further added that what was more appealing was the fact that the councilor of ward 07 Mr Maseko, did the translations for the elders who wished to get the whole point of the speech and comprehend better in their own understandable language.
”More or less than 600 community members of Mbombela were expected in the gathering to view the state of province address by the premier at Manzini hall,” she added.
Other districts that were accommodated in this regard were, Kwazamokuhle next to Hendrina at Steve Tshwete Municipality-Nkangala District, Mooiplaas-Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality-Gert Sibande District, respectively.
The residents of Manzini were happy with the speech and have said they are only going to wait and hope for the better.
