NELSPRUIT – The chairman of the board of the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) – Ms Clara Ndlovu – was axed by MEC for Economic Development, Environment and Tourism, Ms Pinky Phosa earlier today.
This follows after she had unlawfully suspended the MTPA’s CEO, Mr Jacques Modipane, following the theft of several pieces of rhino horn from the organisation’s safe about two weeks ago.
In the meantime, Modipane has been ordered by Premier Mr David Mabuza to resume his duties as CEO.
