Band is set to enthral music lovers with it melodies

They also left the audience gasping for more during the recent wedding ceremony of Swaziland's prime minister Sibusiso Dlamini and his new wife Past Joy Dlamini.

A classic and jazz male band of Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality, called Toti (translated as forever), is set to leave audience enthralled with their melodious voices. The group was founded by six young men who befriended each other during high-school music competitions.

“We perform classic music, mix it with a little bit of jazz, compose, write and we arrange our own songs which mostly includes love songs because we still believe in the value of pure love, being loved and cherished by that special someone,” explained the group’s spokesperson Nkosingiphile Lubisi.

“Our aim is to touch, move and make listeners believe in the power of music. We also aim to rekindle flames of love, revive broken marriages and cause couples to live together happily,” he added.
The group had, however, never recorded before because they had challenges with money and were still trying to raise funds and even find a sponsor.
“Once we have aquired funding, we are not looking to release only a regular album but aim to produce a platinum disc,” added Lubisi.
They recently performed during the province’s first-ever Social Cohesion Summit two weeks ago. They also left the audience gasping for more during the recent wedding ceremony of Swaziland’s prime minister Sibusiso Dlamini and his new wife Past Joy Dlamini.

According to Mathokoza Sibiya, who is one of the group’s managers they are busy building a repertoire to ensure that they have enough songs to release.
“We are also raising funds towards that project, music lovers, couples and anyone can invite us from anywhere in the country and abroad,” he said.
They have so far performed in Limpopo, Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Swaziland. Enquiries: Mathokoza Sibiya on 073-456-6212 or at mathokoz@gmail.com
