The new committee team for the South African Council for Business Women (SACBW) Lowveld branch has been announced and the team is eager to start the year!

The committee includes Michelle Higgo (Chair lady), Lasea Swift (Vice-Chair), Monique Lowther, Dolly Mbuyane, Melody Tomlinson, Carmolieta Vermeulen, Adele du Toit, Sarah Koster, Elmariet Schwartz, Sandra Jacobs and Alison Blair.

The newly elected Chair Lady, Michelle Higgo said she hopes this year will reflect the theme of “Good to Great”, in the growth of the Lowveld branch.

“It is my hope that the explosion of business women in the Nelspruit area will make an impact on all businesses in the corporate, entrepreneur and government sector,” said Higgo.

The SACBW is kicking off the year with its first monthly meeting taking place on 5 February with guest speaker Lynette Beer, famous for “Seeds of Inspirations”.

The theme for the meeting is “Window to your Personality” and Lynette will discuss different personality types and how to effectively work with the different personalities.

“Come and enjoy a life-changing and insightful time of fun while we study the four basic temperaments and combinations thereof.

These will give you a real sense of relief when you at last learn to understand why you do what you do and why your partners, children, friends and colleagues act the way they do.

Lynette will help you to not expect more or differently from others, than what they are able to naturally give and do,” said Du Toit.

The event will start 17h30 for 18h00 at the Pinnacle Conference Centre and costs R50 per person. Bookings can be made by contacting Elmariet Schwartz at 072-672-4238 or email elmariet.schwartz@liblink.co.za.
