ANC supporters pack Mbombela stadium to the rafters

More than 42000 ANC supporters are at Mbombela Stadium.

MBOMBELA – The Mbombela Stadium where the ANC celebrates its 102 years since it was formed, is packed to capacity with throngs of ANC supporters.

Some of the ANC supporters camped at the stadium while many others started arriving as early as 07:00 to be part of this historic celebration.

Currently the thousands supporters are being entertained by the country’s musicians such as Solly Mohulu, DJ Cleo and many other artists.

Leaders of the ANC have already started arriving at the venue, except for the president Mr Jacob Zuma who was booed at the FNB stadium during the memorial; service of the late ANC president Mr Nelson Mandela.

It remains to be seen whether he (Zuma) will once again fell victim of what transpired in Johannesburg, but it is not likely since there were reports that state resources were used to detect members who plan to embarrass Zuma in front of international media.

The formal programme is scheduled to begin around 11:00. Stay glued to this site as we take you through what is happening at the ANC 102 years celebration and manifesto launch.
