Zuma visits Kanyamazane

Residents converged to Kanyamazane stadium to hear Zuma speak.

KANYAMAZANE – As part of celebrating the birth of the ANC, president Jacob Zuma and the party’s provincial chairperson, Mr David Mabuza visited this area where they interacted with the masses yesterday.

About 300 people from the area including staunch ANC supporters converged to the local stadium following where they were addressed by Zuma.

The visit served as part of the ruling party’s January 8 celebrations which are expected to take place on Saturday, January 11, at the Mbombela Stadium which will also coincide with the launch of their manifesto.

Zuma kicked off the proceedings at the area’s shopping complex by greeting and handing over pamphlets to residents ahead of visiting a few households.

Similar activities took place all over the province, with a number of high profiled ANC leaders conducting door to door visits.

Mr Cyril Ramaphosa was in Nkomazi subregion, where he visited areas such as Driekoppies.
