MBOMBELA – The court case against four men accused of beating a whistle blower who ended up being confined in a wheelchair was again postponed to November 21.
Mr Bongani Ngomane, Sifiso Ngoma, Veli Metane and Vusi Sambo were arrested in connection with attempting to kill Lucas Mohlala who last walked on his own accord on 8 November 2008.
The accused allegedly assaulted Mohlala after they were allegedly told that he witnessed them when hiding suspected stolen items. Mohlala allegedly leaked this information to the owner of the items that got the four arrested. Upon their released it is alleged that threatened the goods owner on why he got them arrested and that was when owner revealed the name of his informant.
The accused were remanded in custody.
