MBOMBELA – ADT recently assisted the Nelspruit SAPS and a number of other security companies by providing vehicles and manpower for a joint special operation throughout the Nelspruit area.
The main focus of the operation was to create visibility in target locations. The strategically coordinated operation kicked off at 11pm at various locations throughout Nelsruit including, Barberton Road, West Acres, Stonehenge, Steiltes, Riverside and the Nelspruit CBD.
A total of 12 arrests were made on the night with charges ranging from driving unroadworthy vehicles, driving under the influence of alcohol, public indecency to the illegal possession of abusive substances. The officers were kept busy, well into the early morning hours on Saturday, before the operation was concluded at 5:30am.
ADT is proud of our association with the SAPS and will continue to support their efforts to curb crime in Nelspruit.
