MBUZINI – The provincial deputy chairman in the House of Traditional Leaders, inkhosi Sandile Ngomane has condemned controversial leader, AbaThembu king Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo for allegedly insulting the country’s President Jacob Zuma.

“We were ashamed to see the king insulting the president of the country mostly because he (the king) is from Madiba’s place. We condemn his actions in all possible ways,” he said when speaking to the community of Mbuzini on the outskirts of Mozambique and Swaziland on July 19.

Ngomane added that kings are supposed to act natural and nature determines their political party.

“What he did is unacceptable and kings are not like that, kutsi nje likhaya nelikhaya linelihlanya lakhona,” (a loose translation, each family had its own insane persons) (Sic).“We support the ruling governance and we won’t insult our elder people,” he said.

Dalindyebo had recently publicly said he had cut ties with the ruling party ANC years ago because of its current leadership and resolved to join the Democratic Alliance (DA).
He again launched a scathing attack against Zuma, this time calling him a “parasite”, a “Zulu boy from Nkandla”, and a “tribalist” at the helm of a divided ANC.
