School choirs applauded for job well done
The school choirs will represent the province in the South African Schools Choral Eisteddfod.
MBOMBELA- The MEC for Education Ms Reginah Mhaule extends her best wishes to the school choirs who will represent the province in the South African Schools Choral Eisteddfod.
The national championships is scheduled to take place from June 29 to July 2, at the Rhema Bible Church in Randburg, Johannesburg.
The choirs displayed the highest standards in a three day spectacle by obtaining positions one in different categories of choral music at the Provincial Championships held from May 27 to 29 at Graceland Hotel, Secunda, Govan Mbeki Local Municipality.
“It is with full confidence that the Mpumalanga Department of Education puts its trust and hopes in the performances of these schools and surely victory is certain after what was displayed at Provincial level,”said Mhaule.
“The department once more takes this time to wish all the schools that will be participating in the 2015 National South African Schools Choral Eisteddfod the best of luck in all their endeavours,”she adds.
