GRASKOP- The case of rape and kidnapping accused, Lincho Believe Makhubela was postponed to next Thursday for the presentencing report to be complete.
Makhubela appeared in the Mpumalanga High Court sitting on Monday after pleading guilty to two counts of rape and kidnapping as well as culpable homicide last month.
This is after he was arrested in June 2018 following the discovery of eight-year-old Nokubonga Nonyane’s body dumped in a ditch in Numbi after she went missing for three days.
In a separate incident in the same year, while visiting in Nyongane Trust, he dragged a nine-year-old into a bush and raped her.
According to his statement, he targeted both victims while they were in the company of friends.
He will appear in the same court on March 5 for pre-sentencing.
