Two men accused of the murder of 37-year-old Sgt Sthembile Mdluli, three years ago, briefly appeared in the Nelspruit Regional Court on charges of murder on February 12.
The accused, Moses Sibiya (37) and Richard Shabangu (36), were remanded in custody until April 6 for the court to resume trial.

Lowvelder learned that the trial could not start on February 12 as scheduled during their last court appearance, because Magistrate André Geldenhuys was reportedly sick.
