A 57-year-old man appeared in the White River Magistrate’s Court in connection with the murder of his 29-year-old wife.
Thabang Motloung allegedly shot his wife Mogomotsi Charity Motloung on November 2 in White River.

According to the charge sheet, the victim was found lying on the floor in the couple’s bedroom with a gunshot wound on her forehead.
She was certified dead by paramedics on the scene. Motloung was then arrested. He briefly appeared in court on November 4 where the matter was postponed to November 8. The case was further postponed further investigations to November 15.
