MBOMBELA – The police chased a suspected stolen silver SUV that was allegedly stolen in Brondel near White River at gunpoint on Sunday.
They received a tip-off that led them to the vehicle that was abandoned by suspects in Chweni. The police found what looked like explosives and the bomb squad, as well as the forensic team, was summoned to the scene to assist.

The police calls on anyone with information that can assist in apprehending the suspects of this crime but not to confront these suspects on their own as this might put their lives in danger, however, members of the community can call police on 10111 or anonymously call Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
