Woman convicted for human trafficking by Carolina court

The woman exploited the boy after smuggling him into South Africa.

 Judith Nyantumba  was convicted to 10 years imprisonment by the Carolina Regional Court on Thursday the for human trafficking.

According to the Hawks, in May 2018, Nyantumba smuggled a six-year-old boy from Mozambique to South Africa and later exploited him to work for her without payment.

The Hawks Serious Organised Crime Investigation Unit investigated the case immediately after it was reported.
