Alleged pyramid scheme fraud wanted by the Hawks

It is alleged that he enticed and recruited members of the public across provinces to invest into his entity with promises of higher returns on their initial capital.

A 45-year-old alleged pyramid scheme fraudster is sought by the Hawks’ Serious Commercial Crime Investigation for fraud and forgery.

It is alleged that Moreke Lucky Mayane operated a pyramid investment scheme, Financial Sector Conduct Authority from  2011. It is alleged that he enticed and recruited members of the public across provinces to invest into his entity with promises of higher returns on their initial capital.

The Hawks’ investigation has revealed that Mayane’s entity is not registered with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). Mayane has disappeared with a lot of people’s hard earned money.

A warrant for his arrest has been issued and members of the public are hereby urged to assist with information of Mayane’s whereabouts.
