A 24- year- old woman who allegedly murdered her four children aged between 11 months and eight- years-old appeared before the Witbank Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
This comes after Zinhle Maditla allegedly called her family members informing them to go and check at her house in Klarinet, near Witbank last month. Upon arrival they were met by a gruesome scene where dead bodies of her children were wrapped in blankets inside the house. She later handed herself to the police.
The ruling by the court was that she must be sent for psychiatric evaluation, therefore the matter is postponed to February 14, 2019.
