Suspect in 8-year-old girl’s murder to appear in court today
The suspect was tracked and arrested on Sunday at his hideout in Sabie.
A manhunt for a suspect sought in connection to the kidnapping and murder of an eight-year-old girl, Nokubonga Nonyane from Mahushu near Hazyview, yielded positive results when the suspect, a 23- year -old young man was arrested.
Nokubonga was allegedly last seen playing with her peers on June 8 2018 when she disappeared. Her body was found dumped in a ditch three days later in Numbi by community members who alerted the police.
The suspect will appear at the Kabokweni Magistrate’s Court today facing charges of kidnapping, rape and murder.
