EMALAHLENI – Kenneth Simelane and Tlhapelo Cordelia Mampane were arrested by the Hawks’ Serious Commercial Crime Investigation Unit in a joint operation with South African Social Security Agency for operating an illegal loan shark business.
The Hawks responded to a tip-off at Lynnville which led to the couple’s house where they operated their business. The pair appeared at the Witbank Magistrate’s Court on April 10 and 12 and were released on warning. The pair will again appear in court on May 18.
