Masoyi police have arrested two men accused of removing another man’s private parts at Sukani Trust.
Mr Thathi Mavimbela (38) was caught by angry members of the community on March 1 who assaulted him before he was rescued by police; he is still in hospital under police guard.

The second accused, Mr Welcome Thabo Sibiya (25) was also arrested on the same day. They both face charges of attempted murder.
Sibiya briefly appeared at the Kabokweni Magistrate’s court on Friday while Mavimbela couldn’t make it for the court appearance.
Their arrest comes after the two cut off their cousin’s penis and scrotum on February 24 over an unknown issue. The penis was found by members of the community on February 25 near where the victim was assaulted.
