Former municipal director found guilty for fraud
In 2013, the former director for Technical Services at Mkhondo Municipality created duplicate orders and deposited over R2- million to his relatives.
The Piet Retief Regional Court convicted Divhambele Ishmael Mandiwane(39) for fraud, theft, and money laundering last Friday.
The accused has already paid back R100 000.00 and the Court further ordered him to pay, as a commitment, one third of the total amount which is R550 000.00 before March 16, 2018 whereby on the day a proper final sentence will be given.
