A serial rapist was sentenced to 180 years and four life sentences on charges of rape, robbery and kidnapping.
Sipho Gift Ntuli was sentenced by the Circuit of the Pretoria High Court sitting in Delmas on January 24. He raped 11 girls and women between the ages of 14 and 38.

The court heard that he raped and robbed his victims their cash, cellphones and other valuable items. He was positively identifed by his victims at KwaMhlanga Magistrate’s Court in September 2016, whilst appearing in court for a previous case of rape.
All the sentences run concurrently with the life sentences. Judge Vusumuzi Nkosi said Ntuli may only be considered for parole after having served at least 25 years of his sentence in jail.
