Police officer found in possession of stolen truck
He and his co- accused will appear before the White River Magistrate’s Court on a charges of possession of a stolen vehicle today.
A police officer’s plan to illegally seize a truck belonging to a certain company was halted when he was caught red-handed with a suspected stolen truck.

According Sgt Gerald Sedibe, this happened after White River Flying Squad acted promptly to information they received from a tracking company which alleges that one of the trucks they were responsible for was taking a wrong direction between Sabie and White River.
The police found the truck near the Brondal turn-off along the White River /Sabie road.
“Upon searching the truck, the official driver of the truck was not there, instead a 30-year-old police constable from Pienaar police station and his co-accused, a 30-year-old man, were found in the truck,” he said.
Both men were arrested on the spot.
They will appear before the White River Magistrate’s Court on a charge of possession of a stolen vehicle today.
