KWAGGAFONTEIN – A 68-year-old female was recently arrested for dealing in dagga worth R50 000.
According to police information, the pensioner’s arrest follows a tip-off.
She initially declined any dealings with dagga and allowed police to search her house.

“Police could not find anything in the house and proceeded to search a pit latrine on her premises where the dagga weighing 3,8 kilogram was found stashed in six plastic bags,” Leonard Hlathi, spokesperson for the provincial police, stated.
