30 year old man accused of assaulting his neighbour to death
It is alleged that the deceased was assaulted with an iron rod to death.
A 30-year-old man briefly appeared before Kanyamazane Magistrate’s Court in connection with the murder of his neighbour.
Mr Tirelo Mohlala was not asked to plead to the charge of murder. He was remanded in custody and would appear in the Kabokweni Magistrate’s Court today for his bail application.
He was arrested after his 25-year-old neighbour was found dead outside his two-roomed house on September 10.
According to information at the police’s disposal, the deceased’s body was discovered by Mohlala with another neighbour who reported the matter to the police.
Subsequent to that, a short probe indicated that Mohlala might be the suspect in the matter.
