Police nab wreckless drivers on the R40 Road
One driver who was driving a BMW was arrested for driving at 179km/h on a 120km/h zone.
Officers from the Traffic Intervention Unit (TIU) have arrested two drivers for reckless driving on the R40 road in the Hilltop area yesterday.
One driver who was driving a BMW was arrested for driving at 179km/h on a 120km/h zone. Another motorist who was driving a Toyota sedan was arrested after he was caught overtaking dangerously on the road.
Summonses for speeding were also issued to 33 drivers on the same road.

MEC Pat Ngomane commends the officers for working hard to keep the road safe, he also warns reckless motorists to work together with authorities in order to enhance safety on the road.
