Suspect arrested for shooting his ex girlfriend in White River
The incidence happened near a private doctor’s practise in town. The suspect handed himself immediately after the incident.
WHITE RIVER – A 28-year-old man arrested for firing three shots at his ex-girlfriend.
He appeared in the White River Magistrate’s Court yesterday for his bail application.
It will continues in court today.
Mr Glen Mtshali was arrested on June 3 after he allegedly shot his girlfriend a week after receiving a protection order against him.

“The victim currently in a stable condition in hospital,” says Const Cynthia Mbokodo spokesperson for the White River police
Mtshali was remanded in custody.
This incident happened a few days after a 34 year-old taxi owner Mr Wandile Mokoena from KaNyamazane shot three women including his estranged wife, sister-in-law and girlfriend near Endumbeni.
He appeared in the KaBokweni Magistrate’s Court on July 14 and was released on R1 500 for the two charges of murder and attempted murder.
