Drug dealer denied bail in Secunda

His recent arrest and court appearance comes barely three months after being granted bail for charges of dealing with dagga in March.

A prominent drug dealer was denied bail by the Secunda Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.

Mr Kingsly Chimezi was recently arrested for possession of tik, cat, moonrock cocaine and dagga worth an estimated value of R21 600 and R4 670 in cash.

His Volkswagen Polo, valued at R89 000, was seized during his arrest.

According to Capt Dineo Sekgotodi this also comes at a time when he have two other pending cases against for a similar offence.

The case was postponed to June 20 for further investigations.

The same court also granted two other drug dealers bail of R1000 each.

Mr Mich Van Rensburg (27) and Mr Deward Kruger (25) appeared in the same court for conspiracy to deal in drugs. Their bail condition states that they have to report at Secunda police station every Monday until their next court date.

Their matter was postponed to July 21.
