Four arrested in Mbombela for a vehicle stolen in Gauteng

According to Sgt Gerald Sedibe, the vehicle, a Toyota Rav4 was stolen from Sophiatown in Gauteng.

Four suspects arrested in connection with possession of a stolen vehicle will appear in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court today.

The four, Mr Solomon Shabalala (30), Melvin Sais (35), Musa Tory (32) and Banele Mkhonto (25) are from Nelsville and Game,respectively .

They were arrested at Rocky’s Drift over the weekend. This happened while they were driving from attending the funeral of two of the four men who were killed by police during a shoot-out in Benoni on May 26.

Police investigations still continue.

Other two suspects arrested on the same day were arrested in Kanyamazane and Pienaar for possession of unlicensed firearms.
