Duo remanded in custody for fraud
Last week Thursday the suspects tampered with an ATM in White River and swapped the complainant`s bank card, giving her a different card and later, R1400.00 was withdrawn from the complainant`s account .
Two suspects, Morgan Elmon Hemmingway Damain (40) and Mtshali Adorelight Nkosana Paule (36) were remanded in custody on Monday for fraud.
Members of the Hawks Commercial Crime Investigation followed the lead which led them to the arrest of the suspects who were found in possession of complainant`s bank card and jammer machine.
The suspects will appear at the White River Magistrate’s Court on Friday May, 2017 for a formal bail application.
